Happy Wednesday!

Ok, have a great afternoon! Please remember to hand in your Health- task 4 and Social Studies task 5 today. Have fun continuing to explore Ottawa and work together if needed! I will be online tomorrow from 8-9 and 12-1!!!!! NEW TIME ONLY TOMORROW!!!!!!! If you need something and can not be on from 12-1, post it earlier and I will check all of the classrooms for questions. Still get outside and enjoy some fresh air, 2 more weeks to go!!

Today's Assignment:

I hope that everyone is packed and ready for our trip Ottawa today. We will leave at 1:00 and arrive at the Parliament buildings approximately at 1:05. Since there are no tour guides right now, we have been granted free access to the buildings to explore and search for clues on our Scavenger Hunt. You are also able to make your own mixed grade 6 class groups of 4, have partners, or do a self guided tour! You'll find the Scavenger Hunt in the Social Studies classroom. When you have completed the Scavenger Hunt, please make a personal copy of it and hand it in to the appropriate teacher and correct assignment folder. Once you have finished the Scavenger Hunt, you can walk over to the Canadian Museum of History and take a look around. There is some really cool artifacts in this museum, some of the information you will be studying in Grade 7- war of 1812, take a look!! Enjoy the week! I'll be online all week, 8-9 and 1-2!

It's Friday!

That was fun today, Mackenzie says it was hularical! Or Hysterical, or hularious... You pick! LOL Have a great weekend! The next 2 weeks, I have some fun assignments planned, we are going on field trips, we are going to do some work, we might have a dance party, lots of things... You still have assignments due today, Tuesday and Wednesday, make sure you get them handed in. If you are going into the classroom next week, we have put all of your belongings on the back wall under the middle window. Please take home everything that is yours, if you find something that is not yours (math textbook) please place it NEATLY on the back shelves! No assignments for today! Have a wonderful afternoon, hopefully you'll be able to get outside 🤞. Remember that I am driving home tomorrow so get the classroom ready for you pick up your things. That means that I will not be online until after 7:30 tomorrow night. You have all of your assignments for tomorrow and still the regular due dates. Please make sure that you respect the due dates, I am trying to stay on top of all of your assignments and give you feedback so that you can make your corrections for the next assignment.

We still have regular class on Friday- office hours from 8-9 and then google meet at 1:00. 😃👍
