Happy Snow Day- Feb. 27, 2020.

I hope everyone that was not at school had a fun and safe day today!

We will have time tomorrow to finish the Solar System projects.

We will also continue with Social Studies presentations tomorrow- remember your costumes!

Some people were able to present today, if you did not present, be ready for Friday.

Literacy:
I will try to get everyone's Fairy Tale done tonight, please watch for it to come back, fix it up and resubmit by Friday.

Happy National Cupcake Day!

Thank you everyone that has supported Mackenzie and her goal to raise awareness for the Ontario SPCA! With all of the support that she has received so far she is at $2, 408.00!!!!! That's $408.00 above her 3rd goal! She is also the top fundraiser in all of Canada! Crazy! Thank you so much for your support!

Math:
Quiz's are coming back today, please sign and return. Retest will be on Friday Feb. 28. 
We will be starting Fractions hopefully on Wednesday, please feel free to introduce students to fractions at home (money, baking, cooking, cutting food up into fractions, pizza, etc.)

Literacy:
Fairy Tales (creative) Due on Friday, presentations start on Monday. Creative assignment should be uploaded to your google drive. 

Social Studies:
Presentations will begin on Wednesday, review the rubric! There is a mark for props (costumes)!

French:
Quiz TBA
2 sentences using "les monstres vont/ils vont"

Next week:
We will continue with all of the assignments next week and work towards presentations.

#1- Draw the structure that you see on isometric dot paper.
#2- Draw the top, front, side, and back views of the structure that you see.
#3- Use all 3 transformations to move a shape on a grid
#4- Explain the 15th term of the coordinates using a T chart.

I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day and Family Day weekend! Please be safe and play outside :)

Social Studies:
New Due Dates... Written is due by the end of class on Wednesday Feb. 19 (class time to write if needed). Some people have already finished writing, so they will have time to memorize.
Presentations begin on Wednesday Feb. 26! Memorization, costume, extra stuff is always good!

Science:
Due Thursday Feb. 27 at the end of class!

Health:
We are going to work on Collages on Tuesday, if you have magazines that we can cut up, please bring them in!

Literacy:
Literature Circles will be finished by Thursday Feb. 21, final book talk will be on Tuesday Feb. 25.
We will then finish off our Fairy Tales and present them. Finished before March Break!
Our next unit will be another Literature Circle- independently selected books and an Exposition essay.

French:
