Miriam Small questions (all) on google classroom (SHOW ALL OF YOUR WORK!)

French:
Cue Cards and materials for props

Literacy:
Discussion Director, Illustrator or Investigator due tomorrow at the end of the day
Concept Challenger or Real World Connector Due Thursday morning
You have tomorrow afternoon to work on these role sheets.

Monday Jan. 13, 2020.

Literacy:
Literature Circle Role Sheets are due on Wednesday at the end of the day for those that are Discussion Director, Illustrator, or Investigator and Thursday morning for people that are doing Concept Challenger or Real World Connector.
All good copies are due on FRIDAY

Math:
You will have tomorrow to work on the Miriam Small questions, if they are not finished in class they will be homework. These are on the google classroom.

French:
Please remember to bring in Cue Cards!

Tuesday Jan. 7, 2020.

Social Studies:
Presentations will start on Friday for the research projects that you have been working on about your selected immigrants. There is NO more class time to work on this!

Math:
We are working on Area of a polygon and Area of a Triangle. Today we did an activity about finding different shapes that have the same area. We will continue exploring area tomorrow.

Science:
Tomorrow we will be learning about the Sun and how it's rotation creates seasons.

Art:
We will have 2 more weeks to work on our perspective art piece, then it will be homework and due on Jan. 31.

Literacy:
Today we are starting a new writing unit about Fractured Fairy Tales. We looked at different Fairy Tales and analyzed the story features that are needed inorder to create a narrative story.
Tomorrow we will begin our next novel study: Thunder Over Kandhar. This novel will be read in class and the students will complete Literature Circle Role Sheets each week. Rough copies of the role sheets are due on either Wednesday or Thursday and good copies are always due on Friday's. Each student has 5 different role sheets, one due each week. They are in groups and will share their role sheet every Friday in their groups. If their sheet is not completeed before their Literature Circle they will not be able to participate and therefore lose oral communication marks for that week.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great break! I'm excited to get back tomorrow and get back to routine. It is a day 1, right back to gym :)
